Black Koutsourelia Olives
Our black koutsourelia olives are an heirloom variety of the kalamata family grown on a single certified organic estate in Sparta, Greece. They are hand-picked when ripe and traditionally fermented in a brine of vinegar, 6% sea salt, and spring water.
These plump, juicy black olives are great for snacking, salads, pasta salads, tapenades, and more. You get even more value when you use the leftover brine for marinades and dressings, too.
Black olives are high in oleic acid, which has been linked with several health benefits, including decreased inflammation and a reduced risk of heart disease. They are also high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. More info.
